The Capital Region Climate Adaptation Capacity Building Initiative seeks to enhance the capacity of local governments and interested First Nations within the capital region of British Columbia to plan for and respond to climate risks using an equity-informed approach. Subject to grant funding by the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) under the Local Leadership in Climate Adaptation (LLCA) stream, the consultant will provide services to the Capital Regional District (CRD) to develop and deliver targeted workshops, training, and a regional cohort to build understanding and technical proficiency in climate adaptation topics, fostering collaboration, and promoting equitable, cross-jurisdictional adaptation initiatives.

The CRD will accept only electronic submissions. Submit a PDF copy of your Technical Proposal and Financial Proposal (in two separate files), in accordance to the instructions contained herein, to the following email address:

Delays caused by any computer related issues will not be grounds for an extension of the Closing Time. Proposals received electronically with a time stamp after the Closing Time will not be considered. CRD will utilize the timestamp on its internal e-mail system in the event of a dispute as the final time.

Proposals must be received on or before the following date and time (the “Closing Time”):

The CRD reserves the right to extend the Closing Time at its sole discretion.
