The Capital Regional District is seeking to develop a comprehensive Biosecurity Strategy and Action Plan for the Greater Victoria Water Supply Area, building on best available science, staff input, and expert consultation to address risks from invasive, novel, and unwanted species.  The work will include reviewing existing data, identifying organisms and pathways of concern, completing a screening‑level risk assessment, synthesizing best practices, and defining priorities, roles, research needs, and an implementation framework.
