Sealed Tenders, plainly marked on the envelope "Tender for HARTLAND LANDFILL SITE DEVELOPMENT, BUILDING RELOCATION, ELECTRICAL & DRIVEWAY IMPROVEMENTS, CONTRACT 30.25.12-01” will be received by the Contract Coordinator, Corporate Capital Project Delivery Services of the Capital Regional District at their offices at 625 Fisgard Street, Victoria, British Columbia up to 2:00 pm local time on March 26, 2026, at which time they will be opened in private.

The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following:
Design drawings and specifications depict the Relocation and Construction of an existing Workshop,
Hartland North Electrical Improvements and Hartland North Driveway Improvements.
The Workshop Site Development and Building Relocation works shall consist of supply and installation of
rock removal, aggregate fills, roads, parking lots, building pad grading and development, liner, radon vapour
barrier under the concrete slab and piping, reinforced concrete pad, footing, and foundation for the building,
underground and overhead electrical , water, storm drainage, leachate, and wastewater systems, bollards, site safety features, site lighting, building relocation and secure to new concrete pad, and connection to new services. This will also include rock removal and site preparation of the adjacent pads.
A non-mandatory pre-tender site meeting will be held at Hartland Landfill Learning Centre located at #1 Hartland Avenue, Victoria, BC V9E 1L7 at 11:00am, Wednesday, February 18, 2026. After the meeting, an optional tour of the project area will be given for those interested. CRD staff will escort the Tenderers to the project site. Tenderers will require their own vehicles capable of safely travelling on steep and winding gravel roads. Tenderers must wear steel toe shoes and a high visibility vest/jacket. Tenderers are recommended to visit the site to ensure that they have satisfied themselves of everything and of every condition that could affect the execution of the work. Tenderers are encouraged to make enquiries to satisfy themselves of the work requirements.
